To Create an Extended Search

The New Report tab opens in the Content pane.
- Enter the Code and Name for the search. The Description is optional.
- Set Report Type to Extended Search.

Click the Open Report Designer link.
The Report Designer window opens.
- Define the parameters for the search and click Save. You are returned to the New Report tab to finish creating the search.

To link this extended search to a quick search, click Query Reports, then drag a quick search from the search results into the Extension of Quick Search field.
This specifies which extended search to display when the quick search is expanded.
- Click the Add icon in the toolbar to add the new search to the community.
